The Toilet Seat

I figured I would start off with a mega-topic that has caused more men sore backs from sleeping on the coach then just about anything else - the toilet seat.

There are two issues involved with "The Toilet Seat"
1. Men leaving the seat up
2. In our rush to alleviate significant bladder-itory pressure we forgo proper aiming
and "tinkle on the seat" and we forget to clean up or miss-fire.

First, I will address the "tinkle" issue. Men should clean up their ""tinkles" however women should remove the hair clogs form the sink and showers. I raise this issue because they both fall under things the opposite sex should do but fails to to do. So we are even - "tinkles" for hair clogs (unless your man has Gene Simmons hair- then you have bigger issues then "tinkles"). Above all else this issue arises because we actually put the seat down to begin with. If we have our way the seat would be up and out of the way to begin with. Do you ever wonder why the towel seat has those hinges that allow the seat to move out of the way. toilets didn't originally come with seats. I think they were added to prevent small children and pets form getting flushed away. It is so men don't "tinkle" on the seat. Simply leaving the seat up is the best "tinkle" defense. You will be able to enjoy a nice dry backside. Start taking responsibility for what you sit in. Ask any man, we wipe before we sit!

Second, Leaving the seat up. Too often I hear the horror stories of women getting up in the middle of the night to use the WC and they end up with an unexpected toilet bath. Here is an honest question. Don't you check to see if the toilet seat is down. I have heard the excuse that form women that "I was half asleep." The excuse should go both ways, men often (if not more than women) get up to alleviate bladder-itory pressure. In the future men unite and state, "I was half asleep." The man gets blamed for his inconsideration of leaving the seat up. But in all honestly why can't we get mad at the women for leave the toilet seat down. It is inconsiderate for to the the woman to leave it down.

Lets put aside our petty toilet seat position or live with the fact that a man has just as much right to have it up as a woman does to have it down.
